RESUME

About me

As the political reporter of Florida's third-largest daily publication newspaper, I write at least one A1 story every week, covering everything from what my community needs to know for the 2020 presidential election to Tallahassee legislative sessions and the signing of presidential executive orders. I am also responsible for seeking out and pitching story ideas.

As a community reporter, I wrote articles daily for The Eagle's main publication, The Butler Eagle – Butler County's only daily publication – and Cranberry Township's weekly newspaper, The Cranberry Eagle. These articles varied from feature stories to spot news to court reporting. I was also responsible for taking photos while on assignment and producing at least one video package every month.

While in school, I worked as the managing editor of The Penn, IUP's student-run newspaper published twice-weekly. As a full-time student who graduated with a four-year degree in three years, I earned a minimum of 15 credits per semester, which included courses in journalism and public relations and my minor, human services. I was also employed part-time as a student worker on campus.
